A finely made carved mahogany bracket clock signed "James Whitelaw - Edinburgh" with 8 day Fusee anchor mechanism striking the hours upon a large coiled gong. The silvered brass dial is finely engraved with roman numerals. The mechanism is of extremely robust design and incorporates a strike/silent function.
