Victorian Wall Regulator
This Large wall mounted regulator clock houses an excellent 8 day weight driven mechanism with dead beat escapement and maintaining power, all controlled by a heavy cylindrical brass bob on wooden rod pendulum. The matte silvered dial is in the more formal Regulator style and is contrasted by blued steel hands. This case is constructed of mahogany with finely carved frets under the dial upon a glazed door which presents as a classic example of the style and craftsmanship found during the mid Victorian period.
